Lyndsay Abbott – Founder and Director
With a strong background in general administration and organisation, Lyndsay founded Abbott Property Management Ltd in 1980. Starting out on her own with just a typewriter at home, her passion and enthusiasm to provide a professional and personal service saw the business soon gain a reputation with that very ethos. Through her shear commitment and hard work the company has grown to be the success it is today.
37 years on Lyndsay has retired but continues to share the benefit of her knowledge and expertise and has passed on the running of the business to her daughters Clair Foster and Sally Hendry.
Clair Foster – Lettings and Marketing Director
Clair, Lyndsay’s elder daughter, joined the company in 2006 and quickly proved to be a valuable addition to the team. She now has overall responsibility for the property management side of the business and her excellent communication and personal skills, together with her detailed understanding of property management, enable her to oversee the growth of the company based on its strong foundation.
Clair has also led the business into it’s next phase with a complete company rebrand to become APM as it is now known.
Sally Hendry – Accounts and Block Management Director
Sally, Lyndsay’s younger daughter, joined the business in 1996. Starting as a lettings assistant she soon took over the accounts side of the business and helped develop the block management service we provide. Managing several blocks of flats on behalf of residents’ companies Sally’s meticulous organisation and administration skills are key to ensuring we meet the high quality service we offer.
Debbie Rhodes – Lettings Manager
Debbie joined the company in 1999 and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to property management. She is passionate about all aspects of her role and goes out of her way to ensure that both landlords and tenants are 100% happy. Debbie oversees the smooth running of all our tenancies and property maintenance, no matter how complex.
Zoe Brown – Lettings Assistant
Zoe is our newest member and joined the team in 2013. She came to us with experience in property management and her knowledge has continued to grow. Zoe’s attention to detail is outstanding and with a professional and efficient approach she willingly undertakes any task required of her.
