Lyndsay Abbott established Abbott Property Management back in February 1980. With a background in general administration and organisation, the company ethos has been to offer a professional service on a personal basis.
The company has developed and thrived within an ever-changing market. During the 1980’s there was very little law governing lettings, however, as legislation was introduced to protect both tenants and landlords, the company incorporated this and has kept abreast of all legal requirements as they come into practice. The team quickly grew and in 1995 Lyndsay’s youngest daughter, Sally Hendry, joined the company concentrating on accounts and block management. In 2006 Lyndsay’s eldest daughter, Clair Foster, also joined the company and dealt with marketing in addition to supporting the everyday running of the business.
Lyndsay, Clair and Sally are all directors of the company. The established business has built a reliable reputation that without the help and support of Lettings Manager Debbie Rhodes and Letting Assistant Zoe Brown would not be possible.
Over the years the business has seen enormous changes in the lettings industry, not only developing upon necessary expertise but also regulating the business to give greater protection to all concerned. We are proud to have celebrated 35 years in the business and look forward to a continued and successful future.
